• Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluations

    • This is at least a three-step process, including:
      • 1) an intake meeting to obtain information about the patient’s history, development and areas of difficulty
      • 2) the comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation
      • 3) a feedback meeting to review the findings from the evaluation and to review Dr. McDonald’s recommendations
    • When indicated, Dr. McDonald conducts school observations and personally meets with teachers and / or administrators
    • Dr. McDonald can also be available to participate in school meetings to review results and participate in educational planning (e.g., IEP meetings).
  • Case Consultation
    • Case consultation is available for families who may not need a full evaluation, but who are seeking assistance to integrate information from various sources (e.g., previous evaluations, medical records, report cards, IEPs, treatment response from service providers, etc.), need feedback about educational or treatment plans, or who need guidance to determine whether additional information is necessary, how to prioritize recommendations, or who need coaching for parenting support.
  • Consultation for Service Providers & Organizations 
    • Dr. McDonald is available to present to school, community and parent groups about a range of neuropsychological and educational issues
    • Dr. McDonald provides clinical case consultation for treatment providers working with children and adolescents who have complex developmental, learning, and / or social / emotional challenges.
    • Dr. McDonald provides case consultation focused on evaluation, testing, and diagnosis for clinical psychologists, school psychologists, and other neuropsychologists.
